Swiftlight has been designed for desktop / laptop PC’s. You do not have to be connected to the internet to be able to use Swiftlight. It is built using C# / Microsoft .NET technology.
To run Swiftlight your PC must meet the following specifications:
| Operating System | Microsoft Windows 8*, Windows 7, Vista, XP or needs to be installed and configured with the latest updates. |
| Other Necessary Software | Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or later must be installed |
| Other Optional Software | Microsoft Office 2010, 2007, 2003 or XP needs to be installed and configured if you want to use certain functionalities (e.g. Export to PowerPoint®) |
| Processor | 700MHz or faster |
| RAM | 256MB (512MB or more recommended) |
| Free Hard Disk Space | At least 27MB free hard disk space is required to install Swiftlight |
* In our testing to date, Swiftlight works effectively in Windows 8 but we are still testing different configurations.
